Hello and thanks for visiting my site.

Christmas is on it's way and it's aproaching that time of year where musos are working while most everyone else is lying around watching tv and scoffing mince pies. There's a very busy time coming up with lots of lovely gigs to look forward to. I really enjoy teaching but nothing beats getting up there on stage and letting it all out. I've been playing a few depping gigs with the popular top 40 cover band "After Party Band" It's a completely different experience to playing with the Blues Brothers Show and playing along with a click track and sequencer offers some new challenges. Keeping it sounding natural being the main one and learning the entire set in a week with no charts being another. Backing tracks are very unforgiving and if you lose your place or the click you can end up looking silly. Thankfully this didn't happen and I really enjoyed playing with this tight 5 piece.

The Australian Blues Brothers Show have plenty of gigs coming up. Click here for the dates. There a great fun night out and will endeavour to keep you on the dance floor all night whether you like it or not, and Jake and Elwood are always good for a laugh. Check out the You Tube clip below.

Congratulations to those students of mine taking AMEB CPM exams in October. I am pleased to report all passes with A and A+ results.
